在美国，年收入突破6位数大关的，并不一定是医生、律师或者证券交易经纪人。一个社会学教师的年薪就会有109,000美元！好到令人难以置信？但实际上就是这么回事。据美国劳工部的统计数据显示，从事中学后教育职业的人，收入最高的那10%的人，年薪可以达到10万美元以上，而且，并非只是大学里中的终生教授拥才能获得这么高的收入。相对于美国全国平均年薪48,039美元来说，六位数的收入可以说是很高的。那么，除了医生、律师、职业经理人之外，究竟有哪些想不到的职业的收入高达六位数呢？我们来看一下美国劳工部统计局的数据，应该提醒的是，下面的列出的这些六位数收入的职业中，大约有一半的职业只需要副学士学位的教育（相当于专科），例如空中交通管制员，赌场管理员，空服员，销售代表等：
